Winner of a number of Boomerang Grand Prize and Applied Arts awards in the interactive web industry, Marc-Antoine Vallée (markval) produced and directed many projects for corporations, private and public organizations around the world during his last 11 years of experience. In 1998 at the age of 17 he started his first company Captionweb. The next 2 years were spent gaining experience in print, web design and Interactive development while assuming the role of Computer technician for different companies.
Urban life led him to Vancouver where he continued to work as a Freelance artist for a year and got his first experience on a TV set. After a couple of months in London where he realized a multimedia contract for Orange, Mark went back to Québec to get his degree at the Softimage training center. In 2002, he worked on children’s video games and produced different projects in 3D, Motion Design and Multimedia for TVA in partnership with Sismik.
In the following 3 years, Mark consolidated his competences in the production of TV spots, video-clips and interactive projects by controlling strategic mandates for the accounts of various clients. In the meantime, he was starting his second company: Diffuse Studio Création where he managed contracts with different organizations like Natrel Chocolate Milk and Marcotte Multimedia. The production team at Spoutnik later utilized his skills in multimedia development and video conception for a year.
In 2006, Fjord Marketing Interactif + Technologie (Fjord) a division of Cossette Communication Inc., engaged his services as an interactive Flash and video developer. During the next 20 months, he was able to gain recognition for winning numerous high caliber awards for accounts such as: Mentos viral campaign, Cadillac, Pontiac, Bell and many others.
Marketel requested his talent as a Senior Interactive Flash Developer expert in 2008. For 14 months, Mark led the interactive development of projects for: MasterCard, Rogers, L’Oréal Maybelline, and Air Canada. He won several awards for those works while also building Marketel’s own website.
Mark currently works for UNESCO Office for the Pacific in Apia as a Rich Internet Application Developer. He developed the library platform and collaboration share point for the office. He has strong project evaluations skills using Agile and Scrum development techniques while being able to build UML and CMS for Object-Oriented frameworks and understand the regulations of W3C and analytic. Having build and manage many projects he understand how teamwork must be proactive. Good implementation of backlogs in a SharePoint while identifying key challenges of a project is a must for him. User experience and visual clarity are factors that he will always put in the first place.
This broad range of work experience illustrates the mastery of various types of media expertise. He values excellent working relationships, is a confident communicator and views customer satisfaction as his main priority. Mark is always looking for new challenges in the field of interactivity. There is no doubt that he has the capacities, knowledge and required experience and that he knows how to use them to achieve the utmost in client satisfaction.
